Rating 4 stars **** with an area of 8.5 ha green campsite on flat ground, among wild birds flocks and other animals, in a nature reserve in the middle of a "Saintongeaise Camargue", planted with various species, 180 very well maintained pitches of 100 m2 minimum, delimited by large green hedges, designed for tents, caravans, mobile homes, cottages and camping cars : ALL utilities on EACH pitch : water, electricity and individual sanitation. Sports, water fun and cultural events from 01/07 to 31/08 organized by our animation team : dance, musical, themed and karaoke evenings. Water fun area divided into 4 pools including a paddling pool for children (open from 16/06 till 15/09). Volleyball, basketball, pétanque (game of boules) and tennis courts, table tennis. Fishing lake (FREE but equipment NOT supplied)Maintained sanitary blocks with individual cabins, electrical outlets, cabins with facilities for people with reduced mobility, ironing area, washing machine and tumble dryer (token or coins operated). Fitness room (showers, toilets), recreation rooms, games (billiards, table football) television, playground for children, nigtclub, Library. Bar and restaurant (open from 01/07 till 31/08), snack, takeaway. Local farmers’ market twice a week. Possibility of rental fridge, sheets, baby-bed, high chair. Possibility annual rental of residential parcels (locations about 140m2 or 220m2) ...possibility of acaquisition on the campsite : Mobil Homes and cottages (new or second hand) : contact the campsite management. **Animals are accepted Inside our campsite on condition to be hold on lead at any timeand to have a valid vaccination certificate**. The campsite is located at: - 30 minutes from Meschers (the nearest beach) - 45 min of Royan with its great beaches and seaside shops - 1 hour Palmyre Zoo (the most famous zoological park in France) and Luna Park - 30 minutes of Jonzac with its spa and aquatic park "Antilles" - 1 hour from Cognac - 45 Minutes from Blaye and its magnificent citadel - 1 hour from Bordeaux. - 1h30 from Aquarium La Rochelle - 45 minutes from Saintes with his bowling and laser land - 25 minutes of karting St Genis de Saintonge In the immediate surroundings of the campsite : - Bicycle path - Horseback riding nearby (in the village) - Boat trip on the Gironde Saintonge with the natural pole of Vitrezay 15 min. Possibility of fishing too. - Paddle boats and boat in Saint Dizant Gua 10 min. - Circuit Karting in Saint Genis de Saintonge 25 minutes. - Night markets surround. - Visit to the castle nearby. - Visit and tasting of the vineyards and cellars We are located in the wine region of pineau and cognac, come and visit the cellars of local producers of pineau and cognac.
